Our Mission Statement
The Rockford Women’s Club serves to promote and encourage philanthropy, civic and cultural improvements, education and the preservation of our historic building. We support and offer opportunities for growth and service for all women in our community.

A Historic Site
The Rockford Women’s Club Building
The RWC Building is located at 323 Park Avenue in downtown Rockford.
Opened in 1918, the building boasts spacious meeting rooms, beautiful banquet facilities and an 800-seat theatre. Built in the neoclassical style of architecture, it has been upgraded to meet today’s standards while maintaining its original character.
It is truly one of the finest historic buildings in downtown Rockford.

The Club House
The Rockford Woman’s Club, located at 323 Park Avenue, Rockford, IL, was built in 1918 as an elegant club house. Built in the neoclassical style of architecture, it has been upgraded to meet today’s standards while maintaining its original character. It features a variety of event spaces of different sizes on the main level and a large main dining room, bar and additional rooms on the lower level. This flexible arrangement allows event planners to rent part or all of the space, depending on their events’ needs. The elegance and flexibility of the venue make it the perfect setting for formal or informal gatherings.

The Theater Stage
The Rockford Woman’s Club is home to The Rockford Theatre, a small 800-seat theatre with main floor, lower and upper balcony seating. It offers its own entrance, box office and lobby facilities and is fully equipped with house lights, strip lights, a Steinway piano and a professional sound system. Acoustically, the theatre is superb and provides an excellent location for piano concerts and acoustic guitar as well as many other types of shows.

Be a part of the Rockford art/music scene! The Rockford Women’s Club offers an 800-seat theater stage for local artists to book for public events and live shows.
We proudly collaborate with talent from the 815 area, and encourage new artists to submit their works.
Our public space is available for rent several days out of the week. If you/your group is interested in performing at the RWC, fill out the form to the right, and our booking agent, Leslie will be in touch!
